Emerging Too

There comes a time when we must stand up and be counted. A time when we say, “Yes, I am here, and ready for action.” A time when we want to rise out of the fog that limits our view, a time when we want to emerge out of the mists that have obscured our destiny.

For many of us, that time comes when we declare we are an artist. We become the “Emerging Artist” that took all those years since we put down our crayons and finally picked up the brush, the pen, the clay, the camera, whatever it takes to connect and become a conduit of our creative spirit.

Thank goodness for blogs that let us stretch our wings in the moonlight. Salutations nest mates!

Mudra

hand mudra for energy

Mudra

For those of you who may want a quick boost of energy, this hand position works amazingly well. I always feel as if I’ve plugged into a circuit of energy that is both grounding and calming when I touch the tip of my thumb to tip of ring finger. Called the Surya or Ravi Mudra, it is recommended to do this for 15 minutes during meditation. Give it a try, I think you’ll be surprised.

On another note, I’m going to follow Cave Painter’s suggestion and turn off the Likes button. Although I do like to know if you have visited, so comments are always appreciated, it is a siphoning of energy that I’m not immune to… More Ravi Mudra please…
